How can I delete files?

You delete a file on your local machine, and the next time you sync, the file is right back. This delete issue is overcome using a “checkpoint”. The “checkpoint” feature of Coronasync is the means by which you delete files that you wish to see deleted on all machines which you sync. Once you make changes (deletions) you wish to keep, simply create a checkpoint by selecting Settings->Checkpoint.

A checkpoint can be applied to a synced folder, or to any of the other types of information you are syncing. For example, if you want to provide an update to your bookmarks across all the PC’s, including deletions, then that is when you use the “Checkpoint” feature. You can make a checkpoint using chosen data source (i.e. Firefox Bookmarks on this PC). This checkpointed data becomes the gold standard, and all the other PC’s get synced to exactly this data on their next sync.
